EDCom
A connected operating core for education.
What it is
EDCom organizes the native education functions of TYGGOedu: school and class setup, reviewed relationships, curriculum, learning and assessment, targeted support, issued achievements, controlled sharing, opportunities and institution-controlled data.
How it works
Prepare the school
Connect school settings, terms, curriculum, staff and learner relationships to ready classes.
Connect learning to evidence
Preserve the taught version, submitted work, authorized assessment and approved achievement.
Extend participation
Support deliberate record sharing, recipient recognition and supervised opportunities while retaining academic history.
How it connects
- School Operations
- Organizes the people, classes and readiness behind teaching.
- Learning & Assessment
- Connects actual learning work to attributable decisions.
- Achievements & Portable Records
- Turns qualifying results into accountable achievements.
- Opportunities & Participation
- Connects chosen evidence to a new opportunity.
Why it matters
The same learner can move from instruction to demonstrable achievement and onward to a new experience, with the source and authority of each record still clear.
A district connects learning and opportunity.
The school teaches and assesses a skill, issues its achievement, and supports an approved presentation to a program. The program makes its own acceptance decision and can issue its own completion record.
TYGGOedu is a native education product that can operate independently. The wider IOE connects additional institutional operations and financial services as configured; separate installations of every stack are not prerequisites.
