OneVault

Trusted records, ready for the next relationship.

What it is

OneVault manages protected records, documents and credentials across holders, organizations, issuers, verifiers and recipients. It preserves record authority, versions, status and the terms under which a record may be used.

What it enables

Organize protected records

Keep documents and credentials available to the people authorized to manage them.

Share deliberately

Give the intended recipient access to the records needed for an approved purpose.

Support confident review

Help authorized recipients evaluate permitted records and understand their relevant history.

How it connects

OnePass
Identifies participants and the relationships under which they act.
TAG
Governs the protected presentation or action at the connected boundary.
Origin Artifact
Supports authorized review of record-related activity.

Why it matters

The holder can control presentation while the issuer remains responsible for its issued statement. Reusable, issuer-verified documents reduce repeated collection without making every recipient the owner of the whole record.

A person or authorized service can present the records a decision needs while preserving the holder, issuer and recipient’s separate responsibilities.

Illustrative application

A contractor presents a current service credential.

The institution receives the permitted credential and approved service document. It checks the issuer and current status before deciding whether those records meet its requirements.

Recipients remain responsible for their acceptance decisions. Record status and access restrictions apply. Revoking future controlled access cannot erase copies already obtained through authorized use.
