DropAPI
Connect systems with a clear contract.
What it is
DropAPI connects institutional workflows to supported system capabilities through controlled interfaces.
How it works
Define the operation
Configure a supported connection for the institution’s intended use.
Apply the boundary
Keep use of the connection within institutional permissions.
Observe the response
Make the reported result available to the calling workflow.
How it connects
- DropOp
- Provides the system operation a workflow calls.
- DropMCP
- Can supply an operation exposed through an approved AI tool surface.
- TAG
- Applies the relevant action checks at the routed boundary.
- Origin Artifact
- Supports authorized review of connected activity.
Why it matters
The institution exposes an intentional operation rather than handing every caller broad system credentials. The contract makes the operation reusable and reviewable.
A technician requests a device diagnostic.
A technician uses a permitted diagnostic connection for an assigned device. The service team can review the reported result and follow up when needed.
Connections require a supported, configured interface. A successful request does not by itself establish that a physical action completed.
